[September 17,2012] UFT Commercial Finance ("UFTCF") is proud to announce the publication and release of a new paper titled "Modern Credit and Investment Disaggregation; a Recombinant Approach to Originating an Investment
This paper puts forth the original academic thesis that forms the foundations of "investment disaggregation" as developed and refined by its author, Joanne Marlowe. Credit and investment disaggregation is the splitting of investment capital and investment appetite into two distinctly separate groups of investors in order to increase the chances of successfully initiating a particular investment while improving target investor returns. Release of this work is directly coordinated with UFTCF's unveiling of its Enhancement CPC™ product line-up in Q4 and is designed to provide a technical explanation for the new opportunities that are created by the launch of this innovative, "unfunded" credit asset class. The Enhancement CPC is the vehicle that evidences investment support and "appetite" in a disaggregated transaction.
"This technical analysis first looks at the conventional approach to initiating an investment, then turns its attention to explaining what investment disaggregation actually is and how it is enabled, and finally culminates in a transaction example that illustrates the improvements -- for both investment recipients and investors alike -- of a systematic application of disaggregation practices as compared to conventional credit and lending approaches," comments Marlowe.
UFTCF believes that the introduction of investment disaggregations to the credit market brings with it an alternative, scalable approach to the yield enhancement of an investor's portfolio without the introduction of traditional leverage and the risks that come with it. "This is a whole new way to think about the origination and funding of a commercial investment opportunity," adds Marlowe. "Investment Disaggregations creates a framework that is responsive to the needs of today's investors by helping them discover new pockets of profitability and yield without disrupting their portfolios. Likewise, through an overlay of this disaggregated approach on a strong commercial credit or investment transaction, credit originators or transactions sponsors will find a way to differentiate their opportunity in the eyes of investors while improving returns."
Whether you are working to fund an investment or are an investor that is trying to earn more with the assets you have, this paper will provide a broader perspective on the shared anatomy of virtually any type of investment and how recombining those core components can breed greater opportunities.Read paper.
